Came into the dealership looking for a SUV. Wanted to see what alternatives I had to the 4th Acura MDX I'm presently driving. Was greeted by Dominic Palazza. He inquired as to my desires and informed me of the virtues of the Buick Enclave. We talked about my needed inclusions and timeframe. We went for a test drive and Dominic pointed out lots of the car's features. As I was interested, he checked the dealer's inventory and also what other choices there may be for me wihin a 300 mile radius. He also gave me parameters of wehat a deal would entail. Several days later, I brought my wife back (my color coordinator - and quite frankly, I think Buick could use your input on color matching). Dominic explained various details to us. The next day I went in and made a deal leaving a deposit. Unfortunately, that car had already been spoken for. Had been shopping for a new PU truck at 6 dealerships. Had acquired a great deal of information about Tundra, Silverado,and the Sierra. Went to a Chevy dealership to view ther inventory at 7:30 am, too many to choose from and I didn't know enough. Went to a Toyota dealership to look at a Tundra platinum edition. They gave me a low value for my trade in and hardly any discount off the sticker price. When i got up to leave they offered a lot of additional money. I knew then I could never trust them. I called Pete at Norman Gale and he said that he had located two trucks that met most of my criteria. I had never been to Norman Gale before, even though I had passed it twice a day for 25 years. I went to see what they could do for me with little expectation. Pete was very pleasant and thorough, his choices of vehicles found were OK, but not right for me. There was one vehicle on there lot that was more expensive than my budget. When I test drove it and tried all of the options I knew I wanted the truck. I asked Peter to check with management to see if they could give me a better deal. Peter went to his manager and included Mr. Gale in the discussion.
